Okay, so I have a Toshiba 3TB external hard drive, and a while back I plugged it into my pc and I hear the hard drive turn on, but no sound is heard on my pc, the drive does not show up on my computer and it shows up under disk management as disk 1with
Like 2794.52.gb unallocated space, it also say the drive is online

Now, Formatting the hard drive is NOT an option (so please don’t say that)

Also I know for a fact that the files on the hard drive are still there, I used a program called active partition recovery and saw a picture that I had on the hard drive was there and saw it in a preview though active partition recovery

Yes I do have active partition recovery and it is the full version

Also I have a 5TB Seagate hard drive, it is %100 blank and I want to transfer all the files from the 3TB hard drive to my new 5TB hard drive, how do it do that

And if I can’t transfer my files (do to some kind of bull-crap) how would I fix my 3TB hard drive to use it again with all my files intact

Thank you for you help

PS-I have a YouTube show under the names
MyOwnEmailShow and
MyOwnRageShow and if I you guys/girls and help me I will be making a vlog thanking the user(s) that helped me

Umm, since we will tell you to use recovery software and you have recovery software, you're set.

Can Active Partition Recovery recover all of the files for you, so you can transfer them to the new HDD? That's the first thing to try.

Hi there CoolBad,

I believe the best thing you can do is to just check out the manual of the software. As I went through the contents, you should focus on the topic that starts from page 19.
Manual: http://www.partition-recovery.com/downloads/partition-r...

Hope this will help,
