Based upon my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/BadContrakt/saved/tWVmP6

Would upgrading to a GTX 970 be worth it? I don't want to drop the money for a 980 but if I HAD to I would consider it. Is upgrading to a 970 borderline wasting money or what? I'm having some issues finding benchmarks and stuff for the 970 to compare to the 770.

970 is better that 770. Buy the 970 if you can afford it.

It depends. Do you need more performance? I would go over some reviews of the games you like to play and look at the FPS of all three cards. Buy the one that will run your games best, or stay where you are if your FPS are sufficient.

Both Anandtech and Techpowerup have some good benches to look over.

Arma III is the biggest game I have problems with. It really pushes my computer. Get like 40-50 FPS on it. Otherwise my build destroys any other game I play.

We have pretty similar builds and I will be upgrading to the 970 around the holidays myself (giving my 770 to my brother)

Y'all think the 3570k is really strong enough to handle the full performance of the 970? (By the way I have it OC to 4.4ghz, I wish PCPartPicker would allow you to show your OC)
