I installed a SSD on my MSI GS60 (M.2 SATA). After, my HDD was not recognized in the bios, and the SSD was in the boot priority. I did a BIOS update and my HDD was now in the BIOS. I cloned windows from my HDD to my SSD, but now it's no longer in the boot priority. I can't disconnect my HDD to see if the SSD will be in the bios boot order because a screw is stuck and I can't open my laptop. Is there a way somehow that I could boot on my SSD without removing my HDD??

Thank you!

Hey WhiteSockDontCare. There's something you could try, but it's a bit of a long shot. If your SSD is not recognized it could be returned to normal operating condition by completing a power cycle, which could take up to an hour. Here are the instructions for laptop users:
Allowing the drive to sit in the BIOS will improve the odds that the power cycle will work.
1. You'll need to be in the BIOS menu as stated above. The computer will need to stay powered for 20 minutes. I recommend you don’t use it during this process.
2. Power the laptop down and disconnect the drive for 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the drive, and repeat steps 1 and 2 one more time.
4. Reconnect the drive normally, and boot the computer to your operating system.

Eventually you might need to get the laptop to a service shop so that they remove the HDD from it.

Hope that helps. Let me know how things go.
