I only got into the world of building and playing PC 2 years ago. Started with a crappy lil $400 build, but now I wanted to try my own without help, so here it is:

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/g7-/saved/V6V2FT

Don't laugh if for some reason there are major f-ups lol. :3

When I play games I want it to run as smooth as possible. I do not care about graphics. I'd much rather play at 120 fps on low than 30 fps on ultra. So will this PC atleast get me high framerate for these upcoming next-gen games?

And also; any parts not listed on my list such as the optical drive means I already have those parts and are carrying them over from my last pc

More about : build offer good performance

also look into a reg r300 case and evga bronze 750w power supply. with the saving use it for a better cpu or gpu.

Just a note guys, I kinda have to keep the case as is. Unless you can find a a bigger one, it has to be red to match my little office. Any other color will not look right. The red one I found is the best I could find

Because the case is the mini format, if you want to use it for your build, you are better to buy the semi or full modular PSU, and it will be good for the cable management, like Antec HCG-750M from NCIXUS.com
