Thinking about picking up this board when I grab my a new power supply this weekend. I saw that it support the older athlon series cpu's which im running currently. Athlon 645 x4, I pair it with a 260x I picked up earlier this year to replace my old school 4850. Just looking for some advice on it, don't plan to OC but I do plan on picking up a 8320/50 if they go on sale in the next few months. I've had my current MSI board for 3+ years and nothing as gone wrong, I just want room to upgrade, it only supports 8gb ram, old school pci slot and theres no room to upgrade my cpu farther then a phenom.

Not a bad idea but you may need to pick up new ram as well. Is your current ram ddr2 ?

I don't believe so, I could swear it's 2x2 ddr3. I will check to make sure though.

Yeah I went and downloaded, CPU-Z. It is dual channel DDR3. I plan on grabbing some new sticks down the road.
