I was looking to upgrade my graphics card along with other parts. I'll be mostly gaming, and I want a card that will last a long time. Here's what my computer has right now:

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97
Processor: AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor Socket AM3+ (942)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7850 GPU
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 600W 2.3V
(2x4GB) 8GB Corsair Vengence DDR3 2133

This is what I'm planning to get eventually:

Hard Drive: WD BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
Processor: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A2133C11
OR
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A2133C11R

If you want it to last a reasonably long time, a 280x 3gb or better.
I am wondering why you are going to add more ram? 8gb is plenty for gaming for the forseable future. If i were you I'd upgrade the cpu before anything else, its probably the weakest link.
Also thermaltakes tr2 series psu's are questionable. you may need to do something there if you want to upgrade to a real powerful gpu. < i did find a review of the psu http://www.legitreviews.com/7-way-550-600-watt-power-supply-roundup-review_2205/10 its not as bad as i thought (older tr2's weren't as good) within spec ripple and voltage reg but not great.>
