GPU Help- GTX 750Ti

I own an Inspiron 660 :
http://www.staples.com/Dell-Inspiron-660-Desktop-Comput...

I'm planning on getting a GeForce GTX 750Ti:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclock-Dual-Link-Graphic...

The question is, will the GPU be able to fit within my motherboard? I think I have an extra PCI-Express X16 but it could also be an AGP.

Pictures of the motherboard and ports can be found here:

https://ncvypq.dm2301.livefilestore.com/y2p1RbwjsZLYuP1...

Also, if you need a reference for motherboard expansion slots:
http://www.playtool.com/pages/vidslots/slots.html

Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be good to go. I have owned both the 660 and 750ti and both were great cards. The efficiency of the 750ti is amazing. I would go with the newer card.

If it has pcie x16 then yes you can use the 750.

Install this:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

It will tell you what mobo model you have.

The info will be under the "mainboard" tab, post back with "manufacturer" and "model"

It says it has a 220w power supply, that is not enough.

You will need to upgrade that first.

i read the manual . the mobo has PCI-E x16 slot . The CPU is Sandy or Ivy Bridge thus the slot should be at least gen 2.0 . RAM DDR3 1600MHz , so it must be Ivy Bridge . So far , OK . But the PSU is 220W , which is not enough .

Motherboard:

The PSU is 300W. Checked it myself, seems like the specs are wrong there for some reason.

Thanks so much! It's 300W so should work fine hopefully.
Also, if you take a look at my motherboard pic, it doesn't seem to have a graphics card installed on it (I'm guessing the huge fan is just the heatsink for the motherboard?). Does that mean the graphics card is integrated onto the motherboard and I can just plug the new graphics card right in?

Run Speccy for gathering more info . Both Sandy and Ivy Bridge have integrated graphics in the processor chip . It can be disabled .

I believe the CPU is Ivy Bridge.

So before plugging in and installing the new one, I'd have to somehow disable the integrated one?

From BIOS , you must ensure the PCI-E card will be first . Setting : PEG/IGD or Primary display : PCI-E or Auto(sometimes is faulty)

Ok, thanks!

And just for the future, will I be able to upgrade my PSU to say, a 430W or higher WITH a 6-pin connector? Or is my motherboard only compatible with my wimpy, 300W PSU with no connector?
