Ive built my pc with an i5 4670k cpu, Asrock z87 pro3, 8 gb hyper x ram, 770 graphics card and a crosair 600w.
I was using an old hdd with windows 7 on it but that recently broke so i bought a seagate 1tb hdd. I can start up the pc and go into the motherboard boot menu but when put in my windows 7 installation disk it freezes. All i have plugged into the usb ports are my wireless mouse and my usb dvd reader. Also when i plug in an external drive it shows up as "??" In the boot menu. Is the freezing a power issue? Should i try a usb install of windows 7?
