Yahoo community smartbar virus

hello every one, having some problems i clicked on my internet explorer and my search engine has changed from google to yahoo! so i when to uninstall programs, scrolled down, clicked on yahoo community smartbar (linkury inc) i just wont uninstall when i try norten pops up with ws walware 2! tried safe mode to remove still no joy! an one any ideas on how i can get this off my system been stuck trying to remove it for the best part of 4 hours! thanks if anyone can help. sean
