I just wish there was a free OS that had the software support that Windows does. I just built a $750 PC for gaming and since no other OS has ANY game support at all (aside from Steam OS which is STRICTLY gaming) I am essentially forced to buy Windows......ugh......

Software swap might not be legit but I've seens more than one lisence work from there. One windows 7 and one windows 8. My personal copy of windows was from microcenter.

The risk is yours.I prefer to pay full price and stay in the clear. Linux is still free ;)

Yeah, Linux is great as long as you don't want to do anything on it.......:) (huge sigh........) I guess I'll just use my shiny new gaming PC as a bookshelf........a really, really expensive bookshelf........

I ended up getting a great deal on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit product key on eBay for about $50. Activated no problem. It was just a matter of finding a reputable and trustworthy dealer.
