eject laptop disc with no operating system or pin holes

Solution
Hey dhamra. You'll have to give a bit more specific technical info about the CD/DVD drive. Some manufacturers have eject function in the bios, or a keystroke during bios POST at start up to cause an eject. I know you probably did this, but I just have to ask - have you tried powering up the computer and eject, because most drives need only the computer to be powered up for the eject button to work?
