Really low Samsung 840 pro random read/write times in my build

I've tried two different SSD's on two different motherboards, and for some reason I'm getting terrible random read/write speeds no matter what. I bought the 840 pro thinking it would fix my problems, but it was a marginal increase.
Full specs are:
CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: XFX R9 280x
PSU: Silencer Mk II 950W
Motherboard: Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
SSD: Samsung 840 pro
HDD: Western Digital WD20EZRX

I've used Samsung magician and tried all of their optimizations, but still nothing. My boot time is pretty slow, as is loading time for games.

Sequential Read: 384mb/s
Sequential Write: 357mb/s
Random Read: 37020 IOPS
Random Write 45984 IOPS

I just feel like I should be getting a lot better performance with my SSD.

P.S. First post, go easy on me

@bigboyjeb, could you please download HijackThis to perform a first diagnose?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/

Copy it to your desktop. Restart your PC, wait the OS load, login your account and do NOT open any application or anything else. Right-click on HijackThis and execute the application as administrator. Click on "Scan the system and save log", wait it finish. Send here the log file.

Edited~
By the way the drive storing the OS is full? How much %/GBs does it have of free space?

Not too sure if there's an update for the 840 Pro, but Samsung have acknowledged / confirmed the probs with the Evo. Which I'm using here. But havent noticed, I've only had it since July

With the read/write performance.

And a fix / firmware update (so I've read), should be out 15th-16th of this mth

The software side looks OK and clean. Is your HDD working perfectly fine? Have you tried using another SATA port for the SSD?

I've tried two different SATA ports, no differences. I did just notice my RAM is way underclocked... could that be an influence? Corsair Vengeance black RAM btw... clocks at 2133mhz but is running at 800mhz

Quick edit, I'm stupid. DDR = dual data rate. RAM running fine.

It is better you contact the Samsung Support as soon as possible. If it is a hardware problem, they will provide you full assistance.

It is not worth wait for an update than write some text lines. Contact the Support Team now and tell them what you are expericing and what you expected. They will probably give you a custom diagnose and if there is any issue, they will promptly provide a solution: replace the SSD for a new one, install a new driver/firmware etc.

The FW update is only coming out on the 15 for the EVO and possibly the original 840, not the PRO.

Which ports on the Motherboard are you using? The gray AMD ports or the Navy Blue ASMedia Ports?

Make sure you are using the gray AMD ports and if you have the AMD AHCI driver, switch to the Standard Microsoft driver, or, if you have the Standard Microsoft Driver, update to the latest AMD AHCI driver.
