Recently, I’ve been accidentally switching the power off of my desktop computer by just plugging out the cord several times in a row, about 3 to 4 times. (I recently moved, so things were not organized properly that it happened…)

Luckily, computer seemed to be running fine until the last power shut down. After this last power shut down, the computer would turn on normally with usual windows start up (I am able to do things – internet browsing, play video), and then after a certain period of time, the power just goes out all of a sudden.

I heard that it may be caused by bad power supply, so I got a new one and installed it. But then the computer would do the same thing - still turn off.

One thing I realized when using my computer was that the movement of cursor felt lagging and slow and the response of google chrome was very slow sometimes. So, I thought of temperature issues.

I downloaded HWmonitor and the readings are like 128C for motherboard and 95C for CPU. That's the measurement made as soon as the computer started up. Didn't run any heavy programs.
I tried to check the temperature from BIOS, but somehow, this computer's BIOS does not show hardware status. I don't know what to do to display the Hardware monitoring data from BIOS.

When I place my hand near the CPU and motherboard, it doesn't feel hot, and the fans seem to be working fine. I don't see much dust in the PC... so to me, it looks like there are problems with sensors.

What do you think went wrong with my PC?
Could anybody tell me possible causes and possible solutions to this problem?

I am not an expert in computer hardware or software at all that I might have missed several things in describing this problem. If that's the case, please let me know what further information is needed to make any judgement on this case.
