diablo 3 and vlc problems

So i like to watch movies while im playing diablo 3. when i go to play the game vlc will stop playing the video but keep playing the audio. is there a setting that i need to change to keep it from doing that?

I know the struggle.. Put Diablo into fullscreen windowed in the video settings and it will work, else you can try another videoplayer.

Thanks for the answer Kennedine! Worked like a charm and saved me an hour of dinking around with the VLC settings to no avail.
