Hi. I am having problems with my dual monitors. I have a nivida gtx 760 2gb. One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI, One DisplayPortStandard Display Connectors. Im currently using a VGA - DVI for my main monitor ( and it works) and then im using a VGA - DVI-D for my second monitor. I tested both monitors with my VGA - DVI-D cable and none of them work. Please help

Solution
DVI-D means digital only.
The adapters are often labelled as DVI-D to VGA, but no passive adapter can do this.
You can buy active DVI-D to VGA adapters if necessary, these will have a small box with the VGA connection and a cable coming off for DVI-D.
VGA is an old analog video standard and both Nvidia and AMD cards only support one of these connections natively, which may be through a DSUB connection or through a DVI-I connection as in your case.

Are both your monitors VGA only? If one has a DVI or HDMI input then your best bet is just to buy a cable (if necessary) and use that.

If you're stuck with VGA only, you can probably drive a VGA monitor off your onboard graphics, if your CPU & MB support it. Do you have onboard graphics with a VGA output? If so you can usually enable it the onboard video in the BIOS (by default it will be disabled when the system detects a PCIe graphics card).

I have a DVI slot on the back of my secondary minitor, If i use the VGA to DVI cable (The DVI connected to the monitor) and then use a VGA - DVI-D connector to my pc, would that work?

No.
You need a DVI to DVI cable. This should only cost a few dollars and will give you a better picture than VGA as well.
