Headsets: Steelseries Siberia V2 or Logitech G430?

I am stump between the two.
The Siberia V2 is not 7.1 surround but by buying a soundcard is it able to produce (or emulate) 7.1 like the G430?

Uhm, I enjoyed the Siberia more.

The 1500 felt too loose and cheaply built, the in-line mute button failed after like 4 weeks.

Though I am still getting the Steelseries Siberia V2 only because it is popular and has good reception and reputation. And when I search up "Best headset under $100" the Siberia always shows up even in 2014 so I think it is popular for a reason, I still need to try it though. Anyone here have the Siberia V2?
