Hi All,

I am planning to gift my husband a water cooling setup. I have tried my best to read up and internalise as much information as I could. However, this not really being my domain, I found a lot of the information overwhelming and at times difficult to understand. I have selected some of the products, and need help with some confusions that I have. I am ordering the products to a friend in UK who will bring them to India. I want this to be a surprise for my husband and will greatly appreciate help from all in deciding on the right products.

Chosen products -
1. For CPU: i5-4670k - Koolance i380 or EK Supremacy
2. Radiator - Koolance
He has a Cosmos 2 case and from my reading you need a low profile radiator for it to be able to fit in the case. Is this the right choice?
3. Pump - From what I have read - it is best to go with MCP 655 but I am unable to figure any of the pumps as most of them seen to be out of stock. Also, I am confused if I need to buy a top cover or special fittings / tubes.
4. Reservoir - Knowing my husbands likes, he will want the cylindrical one. Any one should do I reckon? Any considerations I should have?
5. Fittings - Getting him 10 of these . Would these be okay, need any thing more?
6. Tube - Red colour with ID * OD of 10mm * 13mm - can someone please guide me with if these are the right measurements.
7. Reservoir clamps or any other clamps that he might need?

For graphics cards I am not sure what model or make he has so I am leaving it out. I will be very grateful if you all could please help me in making the right decision. It will mean a lot to me to have the smile on my husbands face.

My apologies if my questions are silly and / or this is not the right space for them.

Kind Regards
Rajlakshmi.

Hi I7Baby,

Many thanks for the reply and information. The radiator from Koolance says it is 30mm thick so I reckon it should fit just fine, not sure about the performance.

Will look up the XSCP products.

May I request some help regards the pump.

Best Regards
Rajlakshmi
