Only install it if you want to provide feedback for Microsoft. It's buggy, so make sure you back up data so if it fails, you're still OK.

because you are uncertain no you should not.
why install something that is buggy when you have something that is working flawless.

keep your current OS for now. I would suggest you install it on a second hard drive or make a partition. I will do that just to play around with it and see if it's good.

Don't install this for gaming, the GPU drivers still don't play %100 nice with it yet. It's mostly a business build right now. I would install it on VMware player and you can try DX9 game's on it with that to see if they still work or maybe in the case if the host OS is windows 8.1 if they work again like they did on windows 7 or before.

I may post some YouTube videos tomorrow on windows 10. Running older games (2000-2006) and post 2007.

no not for general purposes. like others have said only install this if you are going to test it out and provide feedback to Microsoft. that's the reason why they released this technical preview for testing and feedback purposes. if you wanted to test out games on it and provide feedback to microsoft on how it runs under this technical preview then that's fine, but if not then you are wasting your time installing it.

As others have said having a second hard drive or SSD handy is a good way to test out W10, virtualization is good but it's sort of a lazy way of using it without switching hard drives on the PC. Either way there's plenty of options here but i would never install over another OS, even if it's backed up, you want to have an OS that is ready to be used in case W10 doesn't work well with your machine.
