Monitor too bright and mouse leave trails(out of nowhere)

Hello,
i have a problem with my lg19en33,the monitor out of nowhere became too bright and the mouse leave trails.

My pc
CPU i5 4670k
RAM 8 gb hyper x fury
GPU r9 290 series

What have i tried:
reboting my computer
reconeting my monitor
scaned for viruses
restarted the monitor

Have you tried the simplest of things for brightness - Changing it on the monitor itself. You can change brightness on it's menu through the buttons.

Mouse leaving trails - Do you mean lagging across the screen with the mouse sort of replicated behind it tens/hundreds of times?

Sounds like ghosting to me. You might want to return your monitor if possible.

yeah i tried changing the brightness on the menu sorry for not saying that,the mouse dissapears when i move it and i can see it again when i stop moving it

Well I can rule out a virus already, as you may have thought.

If you can get hold of a television or another monitor I would try those and see what the result is.

i tried with a television its all good (thank god its not the gpu but the monitor),i will be sending back the monitor and getting the replacemnt thank for the help
