I currently have a new case and psu but as I was moving the components over i realised that there were some things that not many people had talked about before. Before people start telling me how the x51 motherboard is not able to be moved to a new case - I know for a fact that I can be moved as it is a mini itx mobo and many other people have succesfully moved it already. One thing I wanted to know was where I can plug in the on off switch.
I was also wondering if the motherboard has only two fan ports and if it were possible to use fans without a mobo.

If any one could answer any of these questions I would be over the moon :)

Yes you can connect fans directly to a PSU with molex adapters. Some fans come with these.

The power button goes in the same place it was before. Here: http://en.community.dell.com/resized-image/__size/550x0...
