I've been looking through similar threads and the common answer that fixes people's problems is going into the device manager, clicking some wireless network driver and updating it. I'm in the device manager and I don't have anything of the sort to select. I've scrolled down, I've selected to show hidden devices... still not there!
I've changed the battery settings to maximum performance but it doesn't fix the problem for more than an hour.

While its good to check the drivers, you should also consider other factors that might be causing drops. Environmental factors can also cause drops in wifi and other abnormalites that wireless connections are prone to. You don't really give enough information that we can work with though.

-Have you always had problems with your wifi on your setup or was it perfectly fine before and problems just started creepying up now?

-Please tell us what kind of setup your using?

-How far are you away from your wireless router?

-Are other devices/computers suffering from the same problem?

-Also, perhaps tell us which room in your house drops happen frequently happens the most or does it happen anywhere regardless where your at?
