I have installed Windows 8.1 on a Dell Latitude e5530 with Intel centrino 6300 and Proset utility.

I was trying to install Ethernet drivers and the error message is no Intel Network Connections found on this computer.

Any suggestions?

What Windows and bit version are you running. 7, 8? 32 or 64 bit?

Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I installed all drivers required on Dell's website and still gives me an error, no Intel network adapters.
I think the problem might be the driver Intel Rapid needs to be installed during the windows installation.

Intel rapid storage device driver has nothing to do with the network adapter.

The correct driver should be Intel I2xx/825xx/10/100/1000 Ethernet Network Driver from here:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-suppo...

But you may need to go into Control panel>Device manager>Network adapters and right click Uninstall on any existing network adapters listed. Make sure the box next to "uninstall drivers" is checked during the process. You might also want to go up to the top and select View and then Show hidden devices and then right click delete any greyed out network adapter shown as well. Afterwards, reboot and install the driver package.

I already have done what you suggest and still have the same error: Intel 1217/1218/82579 Ethernet connection not installed.
It seems there is a problem with Dell Latitude laptops Win 8.1. I installed O2Micro OZ77CR6 Smart Card Driver and it doesn't appear in Storage controllers in Device manager, as it happens with some guys on Dell community.

You might try uninstalling the drivers like I outlined before, making sure no installed packages for the adapter are present in programs and features of control panel and try again with drivers specific to the chipset from the Intel website rather than the ones from Dell.
