my internet connection ,ipv6 to be exact, keeps losing connection but I am still connected to my wireless network. Also when I go to status it says that my ipv4 has internet but my ipv6 does not. So I reset my router and modem and the problem is still occurring. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

Does you ISP use IPv6 connections?

I would be lead to believe it does not because currently ipv6 doesn't have connection and I still have internet. I don't think the ipv6 and ipv4 are part of the problem.

Unless you happen to have one of those rare ISP that allows use of IPv6 you should disable the ipv6 support. Even with a ISP that can use it there are very few location on the internet that actually support accessing them via IPv6. Most time there is a device doing equivalent to NAT to translate ipv6 addresses into a shared ipv4 address so it may look like you are using IPv6 but you really aren't

IPv6 is still pretty much something to play with it is still not widely supported.

I would just turn off the IPv6 support so you do not have problems.

I would suggest the same as bill001g, disable IPv6 support and try again.
