Here's a weird one.

My mobo has a bright green LED right at the bottom that really bugs the bejesus out of me.
How would thou suggest to kill it with thine wrath with no collateral damage (So to speak)?

Preferably without removing the board, I am rather lazy.

The LED is pretty standard as far as they go. Not a tiny one you can barely see, just the traditional size that kinda looks like a tiny condom poking out through a sheet of cardboard with a hole in it. If that helps.

This is actually an issue in my life apparently.

Paint it a couple of times with a black permanent marker.

Chances are there are no options/controls to disable individual LED's, so if you've got a soldering iron and the solder points are visible on the bottom of the motherboard, you could melt the solder that is holding the LED to the motherboard and pull it out. You don't want to let any of the liquid/melted solder flow to any other electrical components... if you short out a pathway or component you'll be in bad shape.
