Any replies are appreciated! Do you think I need any extra cooling? I have a copy of Windows 7 Professional already, is it worth going for 8.1 intead?

Solution
1. Better Memory (Hynix Modules), faster memory and lower price.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226420

2. With the money saved, upgrade to a much better case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=Ebnthoo+pro&N=-1&isNodeId=1

3. Upgrading to a better / bigger PSU saves almost $50 and will let you do SLI .... you'll want it w/ 4k

4. I'd upgrade to a SSHD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178380

5. Add a cooler.....

Budget $20 = Hyper 212
Hi Peformance $50 = Phanteks PH-TC14-PE
Best Available $140 = Swiftech H220-X
Looks good. I would jusy add an aftermarket CPU cooler so that you can keep the temps down more and do some nice overclocking. If you already have a copy of 7, I would wait for Windows 10 to come out and get that. You may want to look into the new M.2 SSDs, as they offer much higher data transfer speeds.

I wish H220-X is available in UK, I would get it instead of H110 for it's cool look.

The CPU I've chosen comes with a cooler, do I replace this with the other cooler, or do both work together? Thanks for the help.

Hah, yes. I've always tinkered with the family's PCs, but never built my own from scratch. (fingers crossed anyway...)
