Hello. :hello:
I know this is a old issue but I haven't solved it yet :(  Whenever I'm watching a vid on Youtube or playing a game the screen goes black and then comes back after a couple of seconds with an error message like "Nvidia kernel mode driver has stopped responding and succesfully recovered"

It would happen a couple of times and finally results in a BSOD with bccode 124.

I've tried everything on the net but of no avail..

Any help is greatly appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

You should try uninstalling your drivers completely using this guide. Also make sure your GPU is at its stock settings because overclocks (even slight ones; especially on voltage locked cards) can cause stability and driver errors/crashes.

I've already done uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics drivers using DDU about 10 times. Literally. And about the clock speeds, I've undercloked by about 100Mhz...

Chances are your GPU is failing. It could also be RAM related but if reinstalling drivers doesn't help it is usually hardware

Aww man, really? This is my 4th graphics card and this is the same story too....The first 3 were also doing the same thing. So, I'm pretty sure its not the graphics card but the RAM now.... :'(

When you have driver crashes it can either be a driver bug, OS bug or unstable hardware.

Is your CPU overclocked? If so, reset it to stock for a test
Can you run a RAM test?

My CPU is running at stock speeds. I ran MemTest86 for 3 passes (I ain't very patient :p ).
And a update, the bccode in the BSOD is 116

0x124 can mean the CPU is overheating. 0x116 can mean the card is faulty

I think its time to replace this computer

Must be something wrong if you've had 3 cards already and this card maybe having the same prob. Or youre getting these from a dodgy place

Anything else the code 116 could mean? Because, my two cards before did the same thing.
And CPU isn't overheating at all. It stays at ~50 degrees under load.

Its a Asus Geforce 210. I didn't want to spend lot of bucks just to get the error, like my old cards! :o
