Hello lads! I need some advice. Lately I have been having a hard time streaming videos on the internet because of location restriction. I searched the internet and found out that proxies and VPNs could solve that problem. I have tried free VPN services but all of them have limitations as expected. Now I finally decided to purchase a paid service. I just need some advice on what is the best paid VPN service that you have subscribed to? I don't want to lose money. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

I use VPNTraffic, 35 USD per year is really good for me. You can pay 1 month or 3 for test it.

In my case, I have used a lot already LOL! I tried some of the most popular like hotspotshield and hidemyass and both worked great. But I just couldn't sit there and be contented without trying others which I think are good services as well. As of now I am using VPNWise. They offer 2GB free usage and another 1GB additional if you leave a review or comment on their service. I think 3GB is good enough data to asses their service. So far, I think the VPNWise could go hand in hand with other more popular VPN services. Just my honest opinion.

My experience with VPNTraffic has been really good, I can see HD movies on Amazon Prime Video without problems as well as do some other things that need good connections.

Does anyone else have additional opinions on this, particularly any recommendations for VPN's in Ireland and VPN's that work well for smart tablets?

Just wanted to make an addendum to this
Paying for a VPN in general, how can you guarantee that you are getting a fast reliable service that could be used on a home PC and tablet whilst also being confident there are not other/better VPN's out there, also how much of a concern is it, to people that your info could be sold to third parties (i was reading a similar topic on toms... where a person described free VPN's as selling your info to third parties)

ZenMate for Chrome is free and works really well. When I need it for non-Chrome uses, I use CyberGhost for free as well.
