So from an earlier question i am now in a bit of dilema.

Yes i am very well aware that both are pretty cheap and not the best quality.
I was thinking that my problem was PSU relate so i got ready to exchange my Corsair VS650W for a chieftec A80 750W ( not 80 plus certificated but its rated 85% efficient)
Whats your take on this?

More about : psu corsair chiftec

If only those two are your options, I would pick up the Corsair.

If you are looking to get a new psu and are confused between these two brands then get Corsair hands down.If you think your old corsair psu is out then you can try and replace it with chieftec if you want it cheap but remember that the psu is a very important part of your pc and if you can then you should prefer a psu from corsair or seasonic.

The Corsair VS series is dead last in terms of quality from Corsair , but it is still better than the Chieftec.

Ive had a chieftec a80 (ctg-750 or something like that) for like 1.5 years and it has worked with no problems with all kinds of setups (and the fan is silent!) non audible
