Hey everyone,

Thank you for your help in advance. I have a Corsair Air 540 case and a H60 CPU cooler that's being used to cool an AMD 8320 which I did have overclocked at 4.375 Ghz. Recently I started noticing that my CPU and my CPUTIN temps have been getting very high. After playing BF4 for about 30 minutes I had a TIN temp of about 68*C and a package temp of around 54*C when previously I had been running temps not exceeding 52*C on the TIN and 40*C on the CPU.

Needless to say I've gone ahead and ordered some new thermal compound as well as two SP120 fans to put on the radiator in hopes of doing a push pull configuration. I've provided pictures of my thoughts for fan and rad locations and would love the communities opinion on this in hopes that I can re-overclock my CPU and get better temps doing so.

I've heard conflicting viewpoints on fan placement - other details that may be needed regarding this rig is that I am running two AMD HD 7870 video cards in crossfire.

Thoughts on the best configuration.

I would use the 4th one, it works the best of any of them. 120mm coolers dont perform the best mounted vertically (Slight difference)

However, for the price of the fans you are buying you could get a 212 EVO. Its almost the same performance as the 9900 in this review: http://www.legitreviews.com/corsair-hydro-h60-cpu-water-cooler-review_1581/5
It will lower temps compared to the 212 EVO. AIO water coolers only start to work with the h80i, and only work "well" with 280mm rads.
