Are my 3DMARK scores OK?

I would say that is about average for the CPU/GPU combination. Before I OC'd the i5-2500K in my sig below, this was my Firestrike score with the R9-290X. So, you are doing pretty good. Your physics score is higher because of the newer processor, and of course my graphics score will be higher because of the faster gfx card.
