Hey everyone. I don't usually change my rig but now i'm feeling like I want to perform an upgrade.

First of all, i'm from Argentina, so I would like to apologize for my english and also point that stuff here costs about twice as much. (Sapphire R9 280X 3Gb GDDR5 Dual-X OC is like 530 uss)

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this week.
BUDGET RANGE: about $350 (wich would be like $700 here)

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT:
Gaming. I only play ArcheAge right now (would I be able to play it in max settings? Even with hdr filters, etc?

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY:
Sapphire 6950 2gb
Cooler master GX 750w

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:
-Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40Ghz QPI 5GT/s 8Mb Cache (with a Corsair WC h80)
-Asus Sabertooth P67 Rev. B3 Sata3 USB3
-GSkill DDR3 2x4Gb 1333Mhz Ripjaws
-1920x1080 resolution.

PARTS PREFERENCES: w/e

OVERCLOCKING: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

I looked over stores where I could buy the graphic cards and I believe my maximum price would be a Zotac GTX 770 2Gb GDDR5 AMP! OC Doble Cooler or even one a little bit more expensive.

Also I readed this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-car...
But before jumping on a 280x I wanted to ask it here.

Thank you very much guys.

I think you will be happy with the R280x. I had an Asus version and it played games very well at 1080p. The 770 and 280x are very comparable in performance. I haven't heard of the game you play, but I imagine it would play just fine at high settings at 1080p.
