Greetings Folks at Tom's Hardware, my name is Max

I am seeking some advice for the gaming system i intent to build.

My budget is 1200$-1400$

i will be playing on a 23" @1080p

Motherboard: considering i don't intent to overclock or sli what would be the best one out there for me?

CPU: not sure if i5 4690 or i7 4790, i have read that gaming gets no benefit from hyper threading but i do want my system future proof

Graphics: i have in mind at the moment a GTX770, but i i'm not sure which card will give me the best performance for single display 1080p gaming (again future proof is key for me here)

Memory: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 12GB (3 x 4GB)

SSD: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 256GB

HDD: WD BLACK SERIES 1TB 7200 RPM

PSU: CORSAIR CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3

CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO

My intention is to be able to throw most if not any game full setting @1080p for the next few years. i am outside the US and i plan to buy in newegg.com to then have it shipped to my country, i know newegg for online reference do you guys recommend something else or is newegg fine?.

Advice, opinions, thoughts are all welcomed. thanks in advance.

Solution
Definitely get an i7 with your budget, I also have a feeling hyperthreading will be a bonus in newer games. With this build you get the fantastic gtx 980 which achieves almost 780ti performance for a much better price and power envelope. The SSD could be stepped up to a faster drive like the 840 evo if you like but any ssd is a huge upgrade from traditional hdd's. The psu is made by Superflower and is based around (its modified a bit) one of the best platforms you can buy right now and has the advantage of being modular. I really like the build quality of this case, its spacious and has good airflow but there are tons of other nice cases too, it's kind of a personal preference thing!

No, corsair make good ones, just the cx ones aren't very good for handling higher end systems, a hx from corsair will do well, a non NEX from EVGA, any seasonic or zfz will be good too

There are an increasing number of bad console ports that ask for an i7 I'm concerned this daft trend is going to continue. I have realised I forgot a hdd in my build above, a 1tb WD Caviar blue will add about 55 dollars to the cost.
