We are still waiting for Fibre Optic Cables to be laid in our Street and would like to know if there is any way of speeding up this work in Kensington, London W8. (or finding out when the work will commence)

Call your ISP. Most of the time permits need to be pulled by the city. This can take months to happen sometimes.

MY ISP has no idea when we will have Fibre Optic cables laid, I have also asked Virgin & BT no one seems to know.

As a point of interest I recently read in the newspaper that the government are spending some of our tax money on helping other countries get Fibre Optic cables laid even though we are still unable to get them here in the Royal Borough of Kensington.

I was writing on behalf of all those in my area who are frustrated by not having the Fibre Optic connections (I would not expect any company to send out a workforce to lay cables just for me so it was unnecessary to even mention that)

what does sam knows say? your MP might be able to make a noise? but at the end of the day it comes down to where it sits in openreaches schedule, and openreach doesn't talk to mere mortals I suspect.
