This build from Ironside costs $1350, what parts could I sacrifice or downgrade to make it cheaper? The GTX 970 bumps the price up more than anything, but it's also the part I want the most. The Corsair 300R is the only case that will fit in my desk. Any help would be appreciated

Solution
The build looks good. If they have it as an option, drop the CPU to an i5 4460. No performance difference.

If an XFX/Seasonic 550 PSU is cheaper than that junk standard 700w unit, go for the XFX or Seasonic.

Admirable
you could bump down your HDD to 1TB

otherwise I wouldn't recommend you bump down anything else

You do realize you're overpaying if they're charging you $1350?

You are vastly overpaying. Like another GTX 970 overpaying.
