So, I've been reading alot of reviews of the new 970 card from Nvidia, and I have come to decide between the Gigabyte or the MSI GTX 970, EVGA, ASUS, ZOTAC and others are out of my list, Please, help me dicide between the Gigabyte or the MSI with perfromance tests, cons and pros, also the OC power and difference between both will be appreciated.

I would go with the Gigabyte one. The MSI one does have good reviews from some people on here. Last I remember the Gigabyte one has the edge in most of the cards performance wise.

I went with the Gigabyte G1, which I haven't got yet as I only ordered it yesterday hence I can't go into benchmarks and stuff, only the reasons for my choice. As far as I know, it's the highest factory overclocked aftermarket GTX 970 currently and again, as far as I'm aware, the only current GTX 970 with 8+6 pin power connectors, which translates into potentially higher overclocking headroom.

MSI has also 8 and 6 pin connectors. The advantage of the Gigabyte is it`s cooling efficiency, because it uses 3 fans this will equate into higher overclocking performance because of the higher temperature headroom.

Cool, Although I've heard bad stuff about Gigabyte's fans, that they just start failing so bad and suddenly the card starts heating badly, or this is just past models, because I've also heard that this is a totally new Gigabyte improved product.

Maybe there are some, it`s not a perfect world after all.
