I have a Logitech Z623 2.1 speaker set. It seems to work fine. However, sometimes when I turn the power on, the power light stutters on and off and I get a brief static before everything runs normally. When I am playing games or listening to my music, everything sounds normal. I had the speakers plugged into a surge protector when this problem arose. I then tried plugging the speakers directly into a wall outlet. Ten times I powered the speakers on and off and the issue did not arise. The power outlet that I use for my speakers is also connected to my battery backup surge protector which has my gaming pc, monitor, printer and external hard drive connected . I have run into this issue before when I had my speakers hooked up to the battery backup surge protector. I thought I solved the problem by connecting the speakers to a separate surge protector where nothing else was connected. Does my surge protector need to be replaced? Am I stressing the power outlet in my wall, or is it something else that is causing this problem? Thanks.
