Am currently looking to upgrade to 64GB RAM

Before saying things like "oh you don't need that" or "how could you possibly need that?!" I don't, probably, my company basically told me to make a list of parts and pieces will full expenses paid for my editing and rendering rig.

Anything better/cheaper on the market? (I don't want my boss to have a heart attack, so price vs performance is still something to be considered.)

Does the mobo support up to 64 gb? If this is for one PC?

Ok, most motherboards can't even go up to 64 GB unless it's REALLY high-end. Try 32Gb instead bro... lol

Good sticks, will need an X79 mobo, socket 2011 - what mobo/CPU combo are you looking at

You linked to the 2400 set, with your mobo I'd suggest the 2133 set, very few 2011 mobos can handle the 2400 sticks effectively at 64GB....
