I run a R9 270 with the latest catalyst suite drivers and I just realise that some of my games (ex: Borderlands2, League of legends) look crisp and take the whole screen, while some other games (Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 2) have black border around the screen and the quality is rather ugly even with the settings maxed out, it seems like theres a foggy effect to the screen because even the steam interface is hard to read while playing those games. Otherwise, if I run these games in windows mode, everything looks good and crisp and I can scale the window to the full length of the screen.

Any tips on how to get rid of this problem would be greatly appreciated !

This might be a dumb suggestion but have you tried changing the in game settings?

Change from 1080 to 720 back to 1080...

Not sure what else it could be though.

I'd just revert back for now. Or run and cleanup then install the new driver again.
