Please help me, my netbook (Acer Aspire One AO722) is connected to a Wi-Fi but I can't get any kind of internet access. This happened about a couple days ago on the latest version of Windows 8.1 and I did a full clean wipe to Windows Technical Preview yesterday and I still can't get any kind of internet access. I tried my house's Wi-Fi and my school's Wi-Fi and it still doesn't work. I tried a lot of solutions online, but they didn't really help out. So I'm hoping you guys can please help me out.

Not certain here, but it looks like it could be a driver issue?

I tried updating and reinstalling it in the Device Manager, and the problem still remains the same.

Pretty sure that just reinstalls the default windows one, you can find the Acer one here http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers because it doesn't want me to give you better link :p .

Oh, im not sure if this would work on Win 8.1, but Windows Update might also be able to install said driver. It would be in the optionals.

You sure? What about the setup.exe?

It will do the same thing as setup.exe though, it's literally says:

@echo off
SETUP.exe /s /f2"C:\WLAN_Setup.log"

Okay, so I ran setall.bat and a blank Command Prompt came up and closed. Nothing else happened. So I ran the setup,exe and that worked, but it gave me a Program Compatiblity Troubleshooter. I tried running in compatiblity mode for Windows 7 and Windows 8 but that didn't work out. I also connected my netbook with an ethernet cable and got every single updates from Windows Updates, that didn't fix anything either.

Edit: Okay, it seems that the setup.exe is working now... let's just hope the installation will actually go through.

Alright, it seems that installing the Wireless Adapter driver from my netbook's official manufacturer's website fixed the issue!
