Suddenly my task bar moved to the top of my screen it was on the bottom and I can't drag it I tried. I am using windows 7

This area is for Windows 8 topics dude and not Windows 7. There is a section dedicated for Window 7 only.

the path says he is in windows 7 forum, maybe i am seeing it wrong

Well for me now it says Windows 7 but he might have relocated the thread after I stated it. I could have sworn that it said Windows 8 when I originally looked at it.

Right click on the taskbar
Check to make sure "Lock the taskbar" does not have a check beside it
If it does then click on it to remove the checkmark
Then drag the taskbar back to the bottom
You can then right click on it again and select "Lock the taskbar" so that it hopefully will not get moved again.

I fixed it I wasn't dragging it from the right place, it had to be from an end of the task bar I was trying from the middle all fixed thanks for replying

I was able to fix it! Thanks everyone. I was trying to drag it from the center (where no icons were) I needed to drag it from an "end". All fixed. Thanks everyone
