Have a dell t3500, finally going to pull the raid card and the primary hdd (Fujitsu MBA3147RC).
Going to clone os (win 7) to new drive (Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250310AS). Have updated the bios, was wondering what kind of settings I have to change for the system to boot from the new drive once the old primary and raid card are pulled.

Solution
You will just need to change the boot order to make the hard drive the first boot. (this should happen automatically if you pull the raid card.)

May i ask why you would do this though?

Most SAS drives are much faster than standard Sata.

If you only need a larger storage volume it is quite simple to just add the sata device as a secondary storage medium.
