Ok, I have 2 questions to talk about here, one related to GPUS & Displays, and one that should go under CPU's. So recently I started saving up for my 2015 February build that consists of SLI 980's and an i7 5930k. Ok so I guess I will ask the question that is actually related to the topic first. So i've been hearing horror stories about SLI. I have heard that some things don't like SLI and will run extremely glitchy and freeze up. For example, I have heard that the 980's in sli have alot of stuttering on BF4 Ultra. Can someone tell me if this is true? And also for the second question, I have heard the 5930k will give me more a performance boost than the 4790k if I am going SLI. Is this also true? I really don't want to have to spend a whole bunch of extra money just to get the X99 platform, as it is around a $1000 dollar increase from what I have been building. I have heard the 4790K can NOT support two GTX 980S but the 5930k can. Thanks for answering

You won't have a problem with either CPU - http://www.anandtech.com/show/8426/the-intel-haswell-e-...

Some games have not been designed for SLI. Some not for Crossfire. Some not for either. Some games just don't work well at the moment eg Watch Dogs.

GeForce Experience will change your set-up ( switch SLI on and off) depending on the game you're playing - to get best results.

One 980 is super overkill for any game at 1080p or even 1440p.

Thanks. And the reason I am getting 2 is because I am ordering a 144hz monitor (cant wait) for 1080p. And also would the 5930k like REALLY kick the 4790k's a** in gaming and video editing?
