Hi everyone,
I am a total noob to the PC hardware world, I have been watching online vids regarding overclock tutorials, however they are specifically related to later model hardware.
I was wondering if it was worth my time to overclock my components and am seeking advice for what my systems capabilities are. I am happy to look up online tutorials for my system specs however I wanted to get some initial guidance
System:
GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3 motherboard
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9650
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PC2-8500 1066MHz CL6
1TB seagate HDD
GPU GeForce GTX 280
PSU Powercooler PS-880EM 850W
