So, my GPU went down to basically where it cost me half price of the first GPU. Without question I jumped on it and grabbed another 780 Classified for SLI. I have never set up SLI before and just want to grab some quick feedback to make sure I have it right. I am used to running ATI cards so SLI is new to me. I was under the impression i would have to uninstall drivers then install the cards and then reinstall drivers. The NVidia website says that reinstalling drivers is no longer necessary, is this correct? Is it as simple as installing the hardware then powering up my system and allowing my system to detect hardware then entering NVidia Control Panel and configuring SLI from there?
Part 2
I am currently running LN2 BIOS on my first card that came with 80.80.21.01.80 and I flashed over it with Skyn3t Rev3 BIOS. The new card is 80.80.31.01.80 so I planned on flashing with Skyn3t Rev4 BIOS. Would I be best off flashing the first card's BIOS with Rev4 as well? Or since it came with stock 80.80.21.01.80 would I only be able to run Skyn3t Rev3 BIOS on the first card? Any advice would be awesome!!
