Help? During a rebuild last night (Transfering cases) I was transfering a micro ATX mobo into an ATX case and things didn't really line up right.. I thought nothing of it and just tried to put the mobo in anyway as one of them fit fine. the standoffs are metal, and some of them touch the bottom of the mobo. Could this be as simple as a short circuit of the motherboard or have I completely dun goofed? Is it the PSU (I doubt it it worked fine literally an hour before) is it the processor is it the grahics card HELP.

What actually happens is, is that the computer turns on for one second and then shuts itself off. The fans spin LED's on everything works, for the second that it works.

You thought nothing of having metal contact the bottom of your motherboard cause you couldnt figure out that you had to move the standoffs around to fit the configuration of your motherboard? If you havent killed it already, which is possible, take everything out and move the standoffs so they line up with the holes on your motherboard. Or even better pay someone to finish the installation of your PC. Might be better off in the long run.
