When I run games like... Arma 3 and DayZ I get TERRIBLE lag! I autodetect video settings based on performance in A3 and it's set to 'Ultra' though when I save settings, I get 2FPS!!! On 'Low' setting I get up to 20fps smooth. It's ridiculous!

Specs...
CPU: AMD FX 8350 Black Vishera 8-Core
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB
MoBo: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
850W Thermaltake PSU
16GB generic DDR3 RAM (I know it's unnecessary)
OS: Windows 8.1 x64

I'm almost sure everything is up-to-date driver-wise too...
When I had my Nvidia GTX 750 2GB Arma 3 and DayZ ran on Standard video setting at 40-60fps easy. Is there anyway I could troubleshoot this issue? Thanks for the help guys

Try other games. Those games require a really fast single thread performance, where AMD fails.

That actually makes perfect sense. Thank you

Nonsense! That CPU is really not that slow! 5-10% is where the loss is at from the i5 4670k, and that one runs all games smooth on max settings!

I think you may have some driver issues. Check the hardware manager to see if there are any exclamation marks.

I meant SINGLE thread performance, Intel annihilates AMD in that aspect. Even a cheap Haswell Pentium, destroys AMD in single thread.
