Hi , i am planning to buy a monitor
I am confused
I found this lg 25um65 ultrawide monitor 2560*1080 ips
Or something like a benq monitor 27inch 16:9 costing 40$ less
....
My doubt is tht for gaming will the game look squeezed vertically in the lg ? Like if i play watch dogs for eg. Then will the main character look short in lg?

Screen resolution and aspect ratio aren't usually a factor in newer games. With Eyefinity and Surround setups 48:9 is a common option. Most games should properly scale to the resolution you select. Those that don't, you can simply run at 1920x1080.

You mean stretched? You'd think so but it isn't the case. However, this is what to expect with movies, as they tend to be 16:9 aspected. The gaming will be the same, just a little more FOV on either side of the screen.
