Hello :)  So about 2 years ago i purchased a sapphire 7950 oc and today while cleaning i noticed that one of fans have stopped spinning. this is the second time this has happened! the first time i contacted sapphire and they sent me a new card (wasnt sure why considering a fan died). But it has happened again and have decided to get some form of an aftermarket Heat sink and fan for my card but i have little knowledge about aftermarket cooling for GPU's. So i was wondering if i could get some suggestions, but dont want to spend an arm and a leg on one. If someone could help and give me some options i would love you forever! Putting link to my specific card below.

Accelero Hybrid 7970 Can Do Your Work

Almost too many options to list.

I used the old Accelero Hybrid to good effect. The new one has fitting issues with its full cover heatsink bracket. I prefer the NZXT G10 bracket plus a corsair H60 or similar, assuming you want to do closed loop cooling.

Arctic also makes several air coolers. Arctic Accelero Extreme series are huge coolers. Version 4 and 5 would probably fit the 7950, possibly 3.

also im not necessarily trying to have a closed loop set up. it can be just a normal shroud and heatsink i just need something that will keep it a tad cooler then what i have. money is tight right now on my end but i need something. if i fire up crysis 3 or dead rising 3 it ten mins im at 80 celcius.

It is really designed to work with reference cards so any components that are too tall or moved might cause interference. Just a common issue I see in the reviews. I've not owned any of the high end Radeons lately, just a 6670 for an HTPC, so I don't think I can identify by site. Might check a website like EKWB to see if it is a reference design, they have a really comprehensive list of video cards, and what parts they have that fit them that you can use as a comparison.

G10 is basically guaranteed.

Only thing to worry about with the Artic Accelero are that they are really long and quite tall (three slots)
