GA-M68MT-S2 ; 4gb ddr3 1066 keeps shuting down whenever ... it may even sometimes even do not start and go till loading OS and abruptlu shutdown, then a gap of maybe 30 minutes will again make it working ... but ths is the behaviour it follows repeatedly

Overheating most likley. Check on CPU temps with HWMONITOR software. Clean dust out, remove CPU cooler, take off old Thermal paste and apply new thermal paste.

How old is it. I'd venture to guess that may be you problem. Old dying power supply. It would. It worth trying out another another. What other components do u have in the computer?
