I notice the following, the screen light just go off and on by itself
-i took it to an engineer, the engineer change the screen, but the screen still have the same problem
-i then on my laptop, place it on top of a table,in a good posture and notice that the screen light do not go off again, but when my younger brother touch my laptop the screen light just went off
-i touch the flex(the front bezel of the laptop was missing),of the laptop when every even the light goes off, some times, the light goes on back, but most times, when the light goes off,and I touch the flex..the light will not come on back until I click on the ON/OFF button(the computer will then be lock,)then click on the button again, then the computer screen will display OR I switch off the laptop, then switch it off
Please what is wrong with the laptop
NOTE:when the screen light goes off,I can still see what is playing on the screen under a bright day-light..but slightly

I wouldn't have recommended the screen to begin with, as what the engineer replaced.
Also - What happens if you try using an external monitor?
This has worked for some people - Hold down power button on startup until laptop turns off. Take out the battery and put it back in. I know this sounds so simple but it has worked on many occasions. Also - try running without battery, have charger in as power source.

Interesting, I would get this checked out -The wires coming from the screen that is connected to your laptop hardware. If an external display works it only gives this conclusion - it is either the screen itself or what is used to connect to the screen.
thanks a lot for all your response
please note the following
-when i touch the wire connecting from the laptop to the screen at most times, the light comes on
-if the screen light goes off,and i click on the on button(to switch the system off)and then on the system the light comes back
-the light flades away, but the videos showing in the screen can still be view, although it will be very very dark(in a bright day-light)
